Very happy we chose to dine here. The staff were all very friendly. The restaurant decor is stylish and comfortable. And the food was amazing. The Salmon with Lion's Mane mushrooms over a Parsnip purée was spectacular! It was served at proper temperature as soon as it was plated. The Scallops with Pork Belly and small Lobster claws was tasty as well. The Citrus Olive Oil cake for dessert is definitely worth trying! Looking forward to many returns!
I hosted my daughter’s bridal shower last Saturday and everything was beyond amazing!! Everything was top notch, from the crafted cocktails to the delicious food, not to mention the beautiful atmosphere- we were blown away. Staff was on top of everything and everyone was saying how perfect the shower was! 10/10 would recommend
The Roosevelt Room is one of those places where the service alone tells you everything you need to know. From the moment we sat down, the experience felt seamless. The owner/executive chef made a point to personally welcome guests, which immediately sets a different tone, and our waiter was attentive without ever feeling overbearing. What stood out most is how intentional everything feels behind the scenes. Nothing felt rushed and nothing felt overlooked, which allowed us to actually slow down and enjoy the full experience over the course of the night. This is the kind of place where you end up staying longer than you planned to, not because you have to, but because you want to. They feature live jazz on Friday and Saturday’s beginning in May, which feels very aligned with the overall atmosphere. Definitely one of the more thoughtfully executed dining experiences in the area.
This restaurant blew us away!! The seafood was amazing, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the cheesecake was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Everything we ordered was so good! The service was great and really made the whole experience feel special. If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience with incredible food and excellent service, I highly recommend The Roosevelt Room. We can’t wait to come back!
An unforgettable dining experience from beginning to end. The Roosevelt Room exceeded every expectation I had. We started with the escargot, which was rich and perfectly prepared. For my entrée, I had the Lobster Wellington, and it was nothing short of decadent, beautifully cooked, indulgent, and one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The filet was equally outstanding: incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every plate was thoughtfully presented and tasted as incredible as it looked. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, and the service was attentive without feeling overbearing. If you’re looking for a restaurant that truly delivers a fine dining experience, The Roosevelt Room is absolutely worth every penny. 10/10, one of the best places in The Capital Region. I can’t wait to come back!!!!
My wife took me last night for my birthday, it was our first time!! I'll just say this place is just amazing from top to bottom!! The food is absolutely delicious, I had the roasted bone marrow for an app!! I got the Chilean Sea Bass with a side of roasted brocollini, words don't do it justice!! My wife got the Chicken Francese, she absolutely loved it!! We got the Pistachio cheesecake with Espresso gelato for desert & my lord that was the best I've ever had!! Our server was simply amazing, she was so friendly & incredibly attentive, can't say enough about her!! This place is a real gem, we will be back for our anniversary in May!!
The ROOSEVELT ROOM is definitely a hidden gem in Troy, NY! I discovered this place from a friend of mines who attended a bridal shower here a couple of months ago. I recently had a birthday dinner with 12 people in attendance over the weekend and my guest and I had a beautiful time! The hospitality was 5 star, from the appetizers to the main entree all the food was bon appetit, beautiful ambiance , amazing jazz band that played from 6-9 and overall a chill environment. I worked with MIKE to plan my own menu and he provided open communication with me the whole time up until the day of my party. I was even allowed to bring my own birthday cake! I would like to give a huge shot out to JOE my server!!!! His hospitality is impeccable, very personable, and made me feel like a princess!!! Every Saturday night this place has a jazz band. If you are thinking about planning your next adult event this is definitely the place to have it! You are also welcome to sit around the bar for drinks as well instead of sitting at a table. There is also limited outdoor seating to chill with friends and family.
This was probably the single best meal I have had in the 518 in the 12 years I've lived here. Every staff person was professional and super friendly. The chef sent out multiple free sips and tastes for us as we were celebrating our anniversary. Everything was perfectly cooked, had great flavor and you could tell everything was fresh and homemade. This was a great all around meal and excellent dining experience. You would not guess the quality of food and service you would get by seeing this spot from the outside. A hidden gem, highly recommend!

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at The Roosevelt Room, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We started with the oysters, crab cake appetizer, and chopped salad, all of which were fresh and delicious. I ordered the seafood sampler, and my husband had the strip steak, which he said was the best steak he's ever had. A special thank you to Executive Chef Mike Moscatello for going above and beyond to make our evening so memorable. He is truly a talented artist at heart with food and all things creative. You can see his passion in every dish he creates, and he clearly takes great pride in making people happy. He was incredibly accommodating and provided us with a beautiful table. The live jazz music and elegant New York City-style ambiance made the night even more special. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We can't wait to return and highly recommend The Roosevelt Room for a truly memorable dining experience.
